Floor Staff (Part-Time, Year-Around)

We love our team of Floor Staff and are hiring more amazing employees! We’re looking for applicants who have a demonstrated passion for climbing and genuine desire to work in a team environment. Top candidates are those who are warm & welcoming, friendly, proactive, critical thinkers, personal responsibility and have a high attention to detail.

Experience:

  • First Aid/CPR certified preferred;
  • An understanding of gym etiquette, facility rules, and belay safety required; belay certification preferred (but not required!)
  • Lead belay and climbing experience preferred;
  • Multiple consistent check-ins since initial first visit required

Time Commitment:

  • Must be fully available to work at least two shifts per week
  • Must be fully available to work at least one shift per weekend
  • Must commit to a minimum employment of six months, nine months preferred
  • Must be able to attend all Mandatory Staff meetings which may include off-hours

Summer Camp Counselor (Part-Time, Seasonal)

We are proud to work with some of the highest quality Camp Counselors in the area and are looking to add to our team! We’re hiring applicants who have a demonstrated passion for climbing and genuine desire to work in youth development. Top candidates are those who are good team players, enthusiastic, and engaging. Enjoys working with user groups that include youth, families, first time customers, and beginner climbers.

Experience:

  • First Aid/CPR certified preferred;
  • An understanding of gym etiquette, facility rules, and belay safety required; belay certification preferred (but not required!)
  • Lead belay and climbing experience preferred;
  • Multiple consistent check-ins since initial first visit required

Time Commitment (season position from June – August):

  • Must be fully available to work at least two shifts per week
  • Must be fully available to work during camp hours, between 8am-6pm
  • Must commit to a minimum employment of six months, nine months preferred
  • Must be able to attend all Mandatory Staff meetings which may include off-hours

Event Belayers (Part-Time)

Climbing Instructor (Part-Time, Year-Round)

TRC offers a suite of great climbing classes and we’re looking to add to our team of Instructors! We’re hiring applicants who have a demonstrated passion for climbing and genuine desire to working with user groups including first time customers and beginner climbers. Top candidates are those who are warm & welcoming, self-directed, proactive, and have experience instructing small groups.

Experience:

  • First Aid/CPR certified preferred;
  • Top rope belay and climbing experience required;
  • Lead belay and climbing experience required;
  • CWI certificated preferred;
  • Multiple consistent check-ins since initial first visit required

Time Commitment:

  • Must be fully available to work at least two shifts per week
  • Must be fully available to work at least one shift per weekend
  • Must commit to a minimum employment of six months, nine months preferred
  • Must be able to attend all Mandatory Staff meetings which may include off-hours
