Chance joined the Triangle Rock Club family in the fall of 2013 and has brought a strong background in both business and the outdoors – including a Master’s in Parks and Rec Management. Prior to jumping on board, Chance served as the Climbing Program Coordinator for UNC Chapel Hill. As the Club Director at the Raleigh location, Chance is the head of staffing, scheduling, groups and events and Raleigh-area partnerships. When he’s not hanging out at Triangle Rock Club, you can find Chance spending time with his fabulous wife, Abby, their two children, and their two pups!
Allie grew up in Boone and graduated from UNC with a degree in Environment Health Sciences. As a former employee at UNC’s Climbing Wall, Allie developed her passion for the sport during her college years & is excited to share it with Triangle Rock Club campers. When she’s not climbing, you can find her hiking, playing tennis, or making a homemade hot sauce!Email Allie
Kenyon grew up in Boone, NC and attended Appalachian State University where she got her bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking. It was during her college years that she found her love for climbing and the community that goes with it. After living in Australia for 6 months during school and then moving to Hawaii after graduating college, Kenyon eventually ended up in Raleigh in March of 2017. It was then that she started working as a camp counselor here at Triangle Rock Club, before becoming the Camp Coordinator.
Bradley (“Brad”) holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a minor in International Marketing from Southeast Missouri State University and a Masters in English from Kyungpook National University in South Korea. As a CPR and CWI certified climbing instructor who has organized and led climbing trips throughout the United States and South Korea, Bradley is not only an avid climber, but is also known as the individual to send the longest sport route in North Amerca (Time Wave Zero at El Potrero Chico, Hidalgo, Mexico). As a long time climbing trainer, Bradley has developed his own programs for strength-training, with a focus on injury prevention. When he isn’t at Triangle Rock Club or outdoors climbing, you can find Brad reading Mark Twain, playing rock and roll covers and working as the Director of Marketing for Butora USA.
Eric moved to the Triangle from Richmond, VA, in 2012. He discovered his love for climbing here, and he joined the Triangle Rock Club team in 2015. Though he enjoys chipping away at classic climbs far from home, you can find him most weekends appreciating the variety and volume we have here in the Southeast. As retail manager, he looks for gear that provides simple and elegant solutions.
Morgan grew up near Boone, NC. He moved to Raleigh to attend NC State, where he started climbing in 2011..though he realizes that most people move to mountains to start climbing, not the other way around! In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, biking, and playing soccer. An Eagle Scout through and through, Morgan is always prepared to take on whatever challenges come up at Triangle Rock Club!
Andrew is a former Force Recon Marine who has spent his life in pursuit of adventure both in the military and in the mountains. As the visionary and Founding Partner to Triangle Rock Club, he now focuses his passion for adventure in the business world. Husband to the amazing Caroline and a dedicated family man, Andrew has never been known to settle for a halfway effort or going small. This is no more clearly demonstrated than by his role as a father of 5 young kids (4 boys and girl)! Think it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to run a climbing gym? Think again! Joel Graybeal joined Andrew and Luis in 2012 as a Managing Partner of Triangle Rock Club and has ushered in huge amounts of growth for the company! Joel has been climbing at Triangle Rock Club since our inaugural Intro Class back in December of 2007… in fact, if you’ve ever climbed at the Morrisville location, we’re sure you’ve seen him! As a dad to two, Joel holds a deep dedication and appreciation for both family and his community and purposes to enrich the lives of both through his role at Triangle Rock Club.
Luis (“Jag”), along with Andrew, is also a former Force Recon Marine and is now a climber and workaholic. When he’s not climbing or working, he’s a DOD Certified Anti-Terrorism instructor, black belt martial arts instructor/trainer, skydiver, and a scuba diver. Jag has been awarded numerous decorations and awards during his service in OEF and OIF. After multiple overseas deployments and combat action, we’re making every effort to transition him from public to private service!
Mike has a long history with Triangle Rock Club. After offering to volunteer during the construction of the first Triangle Rock Club location in Morrisville in 2007, he was soon hired as the company’s first employee. In 2013, he was promoted to Club Director at the Morrisville location. As Director of Operations, Mike oversees Triangle Rock Club’s five locations in North Carolina and Virginia, builds strategic relationships, and develops future leaders in the company.
As the Membership Manager, Sam brings an attention to detail that was honed at the front desk during her years as a Floor Staff Member during her college years. It is Sam’s job to make sure our member base is well cared for, and she pretty much rocks it! When Sam isn’t at Triangle Rock Club, you can find her playing soccer, spending time with her husband (and their kitty, Millie), or taking on a creative, DIY project! Marybeth is a designer and art director from Chattanooga, TN, with nine years of experience in visual identity and marketing. After graduating from Davidson College, she received her M.A. in Design Management from Savannah College of Art & Design in 2013. Since then, she’s worked in schools, non-profits, and businesses tackling branding, marketing, and communications strategy. She enjoys hiking, learning new things in the kitchen, and reading. She lives in Durham with her wife, Sarah.
A native of the NC mountains, Scott moved to Triangle before he discovered climbing and his love for the sport. He has since tackled long routes in the western U.S. and, with a passion for steep gear routes, Scott has spent numerous days cragging in all over the country, especially here in his native Southeast. After ten years in management and marketing in the tech sector, Triangle Rock Club is Scott’s second life. Scott served on the Board of Directors of the Carolina Climbers’ Coalition for eight years, but now spends his extra time playing music with his phenomenal band Phononova!
Erin grew up on a small farm in Gainesville, Florida, graduated in 2009 with a Bachelors, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida, and then relocated to Nashville, Tennessee after college. Erin and her husband recently moved to North Carolina from Nashville and love it so far. Erin is passionate about being active and staying busy, and some of her hobbies include weightlifting, rock climbing, running, paddle boarding, hot yoga, kayaking, cooking, reading, gardening, and animals – especially her two dogs.Email Erin
