It’s obvious that maintaining a strong upper body makes for a great climber, but the core is what ties all of that strength together and brings your climbing abilities to all new heights! Having a strong core means more than maintaining a six-pack of abs! Surprisingly enough, the body’s core is made up four key muscle groups: your abdominal muscles, your lower back muscles, your hips and your pelvic floor, and strengthening these muscles is key for climbers!

Your core is the powerhouse of your body and especially essential for climbers, so make sure it’s strong and toned! This half-hour class works strictly on your hip flexors, abdominal region, lower back and obliques. We throw in a little balance too, to make sure you’re ready for whatever may come your way.
