Our Intro to Bouldering class provides a broader overview of basic climbing concepts and an introduction to bouldering. Participants learn about climbing grades, shoe technology, basic movement techniques, and bouldering/spotting safety. Intro to Bouldering is designed to provide participants new to indoor climbing a fuller picture of the styles and disciplines of climbing.

The one-hour course is the perfect place to teach you the basics of climbing and helps you ‘learn the ropes’ with a comprehensive introduction to belaying technique that can be used to climb at Triangle Rock Club. Our lesson includes a tutorial on proper top rope belay technique and how to properly use climbing equipment. This class will give you all the tools you’ll need to take the Top Rope Belay Check! All equipment is provided, and participants receive a one-week pass with free rental gear.

Advanced Bouldering Techniques is designed for people who have taken our Intro to Bouldering and Intermediate Bouldering Skills classes and/or have been bouldering for more than a year. The class will cover how to get more out of your bouldering sessions and tips to increase your maximum grade limit. There will also be instruction on how to use advanced tools like the Campus Board and structure bouldering-specific workouts.
