Assistant Facilities Manager (Full-Time, Hourly, Year-Round)
We are looking to add another Full-Time staff to our team of Facilities Managers. Duties and responsibilities of the Assistant Facilities Manager include:
    • Perform recurring maintenance tasks to ensure that normal facility maintenance is taken care of in a timely manner and to reduce equipment downtime.
    • Troubleshoot issues with facility plumbing, electrical, etc. as needed,
    • Provide active and on-going risk management efforts by upholding maintenance schedules and inspection logs. Work to cultivate gym etiquette consistent with stated policies and procedures.
We are looking for candidates who:
    • Preferred two years working in facility maintenance and upkeep, and ability to troubleshoot and problem solve maintenance-related issues.
    • Experience with and working knowledge of hand tools, power tools and similar shop tools.
    • Daytime, weekday availability preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral interpersonal communication skills. Must work well as part of a team.
    • Must be able to work at all three Triangle locations on a rotating basis.

Route Setter (Full-Time, Hourly, Year-Round)
We are looking to add to our team of Route Setters. Route Setters directly facilitate Triangle Rock Club’s Mission Statement by creating routes and boulder problems that are accessible to all ages and experience levels. Route Setter duties and responsibilities include:
        • Ability to set and forerun, at minimum, V8 and 5.13 routes commercially.
        • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Daytime, weekday available required. Route Setter workdays typically run from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to work at all three Triangle locations on a rotating basis.

Floor Staff (Part-Time, Year-Round)
Love climbing and working with others? We are looking to add to our crew of Floor Staff members. Applicants should have a background in customer service and/or customer-facing roles, and a passion for climbing. We're looking for applicants who would be interested in working in an on-going / part-time capacity and can commit to at least 6-8 months of employment. Some weekend availability is required. Considerable opportunity for growth. Shifts Available:
  • Weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Event Belayers (Part-Time, Year-Round)
Our Event Belayers are responsible for creating phenomenal experiences for all group visitors at Triangle Rock Club. Duties include group management, belaying, working in a team environment, and engaging with customers who may be new to climbing. Groups range from youth birthday parties to adult team-building events, and everything in between! Weekend shifts available between 10am – 6pm. Staff positions start at $10.50 p/hour with considerable opportunity for growth.

Group Exercise Instructor (Part-Time, Year-Round)
TRC’s Fitness department is looking to bring on some more instructors! Our Group Exercise Instructors are directly involved and responsible for providing safe, effective and fun exercises to groups participating in classes/activities. Classes include, but are not limited to: Strength and Conditioning, HIIT Intervals, Plyometrics, Functional Strength Training, Core, and Mobility. Instructors must have a constant awareness for risk management and delivering a phenomenal customer service experience to TRC members and guests through their fitness programming. We're looking for applicants who would be interested in working in an on-going / part-time capacity and can commit to at least 6-8 months of employment.
We are looking for candidates who:
  • Can lead 2 or more of the following style classes – HIIT, Strength and Conditioning, Core and or Mobility
  • Demonstrate the ability to teach a safe, fun, and creative class
  • Must be able to teach to all levels and provide movement modifications when needed
  • Create a class experience that shows your personality and skills while adhering to TRC Standards and Policies
  • Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
  • Create a personal connection and relationship with students
  • Holds a Primary Group Exercise Certification - ACE, AFAA or similar nationally accredited certification requiured
  • Personal trainer certified preffered
  • CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment
  • 1+ years' experience and actively teaching
  • Willing and available to teach a minimum of 2-4 classes per week
  • Have a strong desire to help grow the TRC Fitness Program

Yoga Instructor (Part-Time, Year-Round)
    TRC's Fitness department is looking to bring on some more instructors! Our Yoga Instructors are directly involved and responsible for providing safe, effective and fun exercises to groups participating in classes/activities. Classes include, but are not limited to: Foundational Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga, Restore, VinYin, Yoga4Climbers and Slow Flow Yoga. Instructors must have a constant awareness for risk management and delivering a phenomenal customer service experience to the TRC members and guests relative through their programming. We're looking for applicants who would be interested in working in an on-going / part-time capacity and can commit to at  least 6-8 months of employment.
We are looking for candidates who:

Team TRC Coach (Part-Time, Year-Round)
Love climbing, stoked to mentor upcoming generations of crushers, and interested in competitive aspects of the sport? We’re looking to fill a handful of spots on our Coaching Staff!
Shifts Available:
  • Weekday afternoons.
  • Occasional Sunday evenings and weekend competition travel (paid).

Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • Demonstrated passion for climbing and desire to share that with others.
  • Prior experience in competition climbing as a participant or Coach role.
  • Background in customer service or any customer-facing role.

Climbing Instructor (Year-Round, Part-Time)
We’re currently looking for Climbing Instructors to assist with numerous introductory-level and advanced-level classes. Classes included Intro to Rope Climbing, Intro to Lead Climbing, Climbing Movement Fundamentals, and Advanced Climbing Movement Clinics. Our Instructor position offers a flexible schedule and is a great way to get plugged into the broader TRC community. After-School Youth Counselor (Year-Round, Part-Time)
Passionate about climbing and adventure and looking to share that passion with a younger generation? We are looking for staff who are interested in working our youth climbing program, First Ascents, with availability from 4pm to 6pm, Monday through Thursday, on an ongoing basis. Experience with kids preferred. Passion for teaching others about climbing a must. Requirements/Preferred Experience:
  • Background in customer service and/or customer facing roles
  • Passion for climbing and sharing that passion with others
