HANDSTANDS 101 YOGA CLINIC (Taught by Mary K.)
Sunday, March 12th | 2:00 – 3:30 PM at TRC North Raleigh
Cost: $15/Members and $25/Non-Members  •  Limited Space Available

Whether you’re an absolute beginner with zero experience or an intermediate “handstander” still stuck to the wall, this workshop will give you a new perspective on being upside down. Learn the functional anatomy of a handstand, from fingers to toes. Prepare your wrists for weight bearing and injury prevention. Practice movement patterns and alternative exercises that will directly benefit your handstand by developing strength through a wide range of motion. Mary’s multidisciplinary approach of gymnastics and yoga will help you build  confidence, strengthen skills and get upside down.
